About the show

A chance meeting between two Matts- an Australian ex-pat and a Canadian student with a love of Australian music – led to the creation of ‘Stranded: The Australian/Canadian Music Show’ in Edmonton, Alberta, on the college station CJSR in 2008.

When Matt G relocated to Vancouver,  he continued to play fresh sounds and archived classics from the antipodes for listeners on CiTR 101.9fm, where the show airs each Friday from 6:00 to 7:30pm and streams live at http://www.citr.ca/
