Stoner rock legends Tumbleweed, of Wollongong, formed in 1990, and featured members of local band Proton Energy Pills, namely the Curley brothers. This week we air a Proton Energy Pills song, an early Tumbleweed single, and a track from Brother Brick, featuring Lenny Curley on guitar. I just got back from visiting family back in Australia, and while there I attended a local gig at Smiths Alternative Bookstore where I got to see outstanding singer-songwriters Scoob McGoon, Evan Buckley (of The Burley Griffin) and hip hop artist Omar Musa of Queanbeyan We air a track-a-piece from each of these artists before the Canadian part of the show featuring new Chris-a-Riffic!
